Welcome to Mrs. Bryant’s Class!!!!
My name is Mrs. Bryant and I am the ESE Elementary Teacher. I have taught ESE at the early childhood, elementary, and middle school level. Our class this year is composed of talented, energetic, compassionate children that make everyday exciting and full of happiness.
I am blessed to be working with a team of intelligent young women who will also be interacting with the students on a daily basis. As a team, Ms. Krysia, Ms. Stefanie and I are going to assure that all the students are comfortable in their environment, and that every possible measure is taken to assure that they are reaching their ultimate potential. It is because we are such a diverse team that our individual gifts and talents shine so dramatically, creating an environment in which children truly feel eager to learn. Our philosophy is that a child needs love to grow to their full capacity. When a child feels loved, their confidence is strengthened, their social skills improved, and their level of comfort increases dramatically. A comfortable, confident child is one who is open to learning, growing and experiencing new things.
Our goal is to see all the children blossom by building a bridge between the home and the classroom- using the word of God and the love of Christ as the building blocks. In keeping with this ideology, we have decided this year’s theme would be “Love is Homemade.” We will have a monthly homemade project that will require the parent to work with their child and spend quality time to get to know each other and God.
Our class will be working with specially designed books from the PACES curriculum. The PACES curriculum books in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Word Building and English allow students to work at their own pace. Each child will receive one on one attention while working in their PACE books to assure that they are fully understanding the material, feel comfortable and confident in their work, and they are given the opportunity to reach their ultimate potential. Learning does not stop when the text books are closed. Education is not limited to the material learned in our curriculum. In recognizing that, we intend to teach the students to be well rounded individuals and to live a Christian life.
In addition to the PACES curriculum, we will be doing a variety of other activities that include but are not limited to:
Parent involvement is not only welcome, but encouraged. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
In His service and yours, Mrs. Bryant
