Dear Parents and Students,
My name is Katie Groen and I would like to welcome you to Redland Christian Academy! I am so excited about the upcoming school year. Kindergarten is an important year and you will see academic, social, and spiritual growth in each child. I am sure that with God’s guidance, parent’s help, and each student’s readiness to learn we will make this a very productive and educational year. Below you will find a short introduction, a list of subject matter we will be covering, and a calendar of exciting special events I have planned for this year!
Meet the Teacher
I grew up in Miami, Florida and attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, GO GATORS! This will be my seventh year teaching and my first year at RCA! I absolutely love teaching and really feel that it is what God has lead me to do. Aside from teaching, my other passions include local and global missions, serving those in need whenever and wherever I can. This summer I married my husband, Nick Groen, who is also a Christian school teacher and coach.
